Namibia is currently one of the hottest destinations for wildlife safaris and holiday tours, offering an incredibly diverse range of sights and experiences.
From the Namib Desert - one of the oldest deserts in the world, along its coastline - the desolate and yet incredibly beautiful Skeleton Coast, to harsh inland regions such as Damaraland - harbouring the rare Desert Elephant and the Black Rhino, to the famous and spectacular Etosha National Park - one of Africa's great game reserves, to wooded grassland and, eventually, to the Kalahari in the east.
The country is larger than France and Great Britain combined, and yet only has a population of some 1,9 million people.
