About Us

If you are looking for a trip to remember, where adventure and excellence combine to satisfy your every need, don’t look any further!

We are passionate about what we do; focusing on luxury tailor made wildlife safaris, tours and holidays in Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia.

Two of the goals of African Odyssey Safaris are:

  • To provide safari holidays and tours that maximise our clients enjoyment of the rich diversity of scenic, cultural and wildlife experiences available in Southern Africa as well - in Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia, in particular.
  • To provide a service to our international guests that does not compromise on quality, value for money and ethical business practice.
This is your holiday and we are the tools you can use to fashion an experience which you will treasure for a lifetime. We are not beholden to any service providers, and we work with you to plan and cost a personalised experience that is as close as to perfect as can be – for you!

Your holiday is entirely flexible and can consist of fully guided sections, self drive options or we can make it a fully inclusive experience – which means that you don’t have to worry about anything.

We also offer unique guided safaris in South Africa, led by highly experienced, professional Game Rangers/Wardens who have spent a lifetime at the cutting edge of working in, and managing protected areas. This is an opportunity to share quality time around the campfire in the evenings, and to gain an insight into the lives of the people who manage wild areas, as well as the habits and behaviour of the creatures that inhabit these areas.

Walking safaris in Zambia, led by exceptional, highly experienced, Professional Guides, are highly recommended. Feel the heart of Africa as you listen to the sounds of the night, and walk through wild country at a pace that suits you. Truly a spiritual journey.

We make use of hand-picked, high quality service providers who display more than a passing commitment to responsible tourism and who, in fact, put something back into the conservation of our wild areas and adjacent communities.

He is a long standing professional member of the prestigious Game Rangers Association of Africa and the Field Guides Association of South Africa.

He is also a keen photographer, having had some of his wildlife photos published.

News

Well, those who will be visiting Botswana's Okavango Delta in the next few months are in for a treat! Every year this magnificent wonderland gets inundated by flood waters originating from the highlands of Angola. The waters arrive at the top or "panhandle" of the Delta in about January and get to the "end" of the Delta in June or so.
